Worst experience and customer service by spa attendant on Men’s floor. The young guy who works here provided bad customer service. The rule 2 hours sucks like the policy of entire facility. Never again

I'm sure it looks the same as it did in 1984. I left wondering how they passed their health inspection. We went for the hot spring aspect of this spa. But I rather hit and outdoor hot springs or go to a quality spa. I had a body scrub and it was the least enjoyable service I've ever had at a spa. It hurt, and I was there to relax. This was all done on a portable massage type table in stall next to four other stalls with ladies. The towel they had me rest my head on smelled so bad I couldn't put my head down. This is where my concern for health and safety came in was with the products being used, the proper handling, and the sanitation.I ended my session with a scalp massage. There was a lot of strange hitting on the top of my head and very little massaging of the scalp. This like the scrub, was not relaxing or what I expect. It ended with washing out the oil that was put on my hair (not on my scalp). The quality of shampoo and conditioner was that of dollar store products. One of three hair dryers worked properly. No brushes or combs. Sadly, I was relieved when it was all over. The ladies at the front desk were best part of the visit as the had great customer service.

Hadn’t been since the pandemic and wow, this place is in need of an upgrade. The pool area smelled like mold and mildew and didn’t feel clean. The showers wouldn’t get hot (I tried four of them) and more than half the lockers were broken. No fresh towels anywhere and just a yucky experience overall. Sad, feels like another once thriving business has fallen on hard time post pandemic. My scrub was meh. Won’t come back, and I used to spend a lot of time here.

This spa is completely amazing… From the Hot Springs to the cold to the sauna and relaxing beds, I’ve been coming here since 2015 and it’s just a true gem! Highly recommend all services from facials to massages and the body scrub!

Never go there !! We had the worst experience with my friends.
The scrubbing was okay. But the massage part was the worst. They "hit"you instead of giving you a "normal" massage. When we booked our appointments we specifically requested women only as therapist and they gave my friend a male therapist with no explanations at all ! Really disappointing, not clean as it was before and REALLY NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL

Surprised i haven’t done a review for this place yet because i love it so much. This is the holy grail of spa places in LA and should be treated as such.
It is the only hot spring in LA that i am aware of that has a natural spring of water for the hot and cold plunge.
The price for just using the facility’s like steam,sauna,hot pool, cold plunge for 2 hours ranges from 45-50 dollars depending on weekday or weekend.
They have plenty of treatments that are very popular but for me i like to go for 2 hours and i enjoy everything in rotation.
This place separates women and women so once you pay at the front men will go upstairs. ayou get two towels and there is a locker room with security codes on them. The place is very private and small which i love so going on off hours and it’s not busy is really a treat.
Highly recommend if you want something that has amazing utilities and just a private aura.
Just a warning most people are naked or partially naked and there are rules to shower in between sauna and steam before going into the hot or cold pools. This place is very discreet and everyone is there for healing.
