We visited the Kirkpatrick family castle in September, 2024. Having Kirkpatrick ancestors this was especially fun and interesting. The castle is well appointed with period furnishings. Our guide was friendly and very well informed. We look forward to returning some day to try out the escape room. Hollis Hill and Mike Gano, Seattle, WA USA

My family and I are from the United States and made a reservation for a tour of the Closeburn Castle while we were in the UK on vacation. From the start communication with our guide was prompt and friendly. We were greeted outside when we arrived and were given an outstanding tour with very detailed information about the history of the castle. It was fascinating and we learned a lot, not just about the history of the castle, but about Scottish/English history as well. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone who can make it work into their itinerary.

Nice old, well-kept castle. Lots of wildlife in the grounds an interesting place to visit . Went here on one of the ghost tours, which was quite interesting. Only rooms with activity were the cellar and the attic. Would be an interesting place for a B and B or a hotel would definitely stay for a couple of days if it was .

Lovely walk around perimeter of castle. Not sure if you can get close up to castle but great views of it from walk. Would be good if there was an information board, maybe at gatehouse, to give history of castle and area.

A very interesting dive into History, Maria is very kind and so knowledgeable about the place. It's a real pleasure listening about the Kirkpatrick's and more largely Scotland's history !
