This place is not a good place to take your business to. The owner is selfish and un compassionate. When the community is going through such a rough patch like a time of a deadly pandemic. This lady instead of doing the right thing she does the opposite. There was an incomplete agreement with more details to be added. I signed it thinking I can trust her not doing nothing untrusted. That day I asked her for a copy and she declined saying to wait until we added the rest of the details then, She would provide me with a copy. This was Late January. Early March, I was recovering from being ill due to the virus, Had financial issues. I asked her for a refund of $1000. And informed her of my current situation. And informed her we were unable to continue with the plans, She declined and her offer was to postpone the event or transfer the agreement to someone else. I told her this year was not very proper for a celebration, due to the law of social distancing that is still in place. So most likely my daughters quince wasn’t happening this year. And I didn’t know of anyone that would want to party and expose their loved ones to Corona. I would talk to my husband and daughter and give more thought to it. I thought about it for another month. Things did not get better with the virus. Not only was I financially struggling and could’ve have used that money but I was still recovering myself. my family and I did not want to expose family and friends to the virus, with having soo many people in one small place all at once. So I reached out again and asked her for a refund and a copy of the forms I signed. As my family and I decided to cancel the quinceañera event all together, and gave her our reasons. She declined and replied that I had a copy. ( not true) after texting her several times. With no answers she agreed to meet me, but instead of her attending the meeting she would send a Daniel? I did not know who he was so I asked her to attend, not for Daniel to attend. The day of the meeting I texted her at 230 pm to confirm the 7 pm meeting, no response. until almost 8pm she texted that she was waiting for me and I didn’t show. She sent a picture of a form, but just the corner tip of it. Why not text minutes after asking “are you coming? “ not beneficial to her of course.
I don’t understand why she won’t provide me with a copy of the document.
I don’t recommend you taking your services to this place with an owner like her. Instead of helping the community out and providing good customer service, she does the opposite. She is only able to pay me $500 out $1000 back. According to her, her agreement states she is only to give back half of the deposit. When this cancellation is out of our control due to COVID. I contacted fox 31 problem solvers and shortly after they reached out to her I received a notification from Venmo for an amount of $500. That is not acceptable. Why deny someone a copy of the supposed agreement to be able to review it and see for self that policies of the venue? Why lie to your client saying you provided a copy. The agreement was not completed more details were to be added. I would rather be courteous to my clients, in order to have good references for future clients. And be a compassionate, understandable member our community of our society. Not mistreat hard working people and screwing them for their money. $500 to her might not be much, as she has a few businesses. But for my family of 6, it is a good amount of money to just be handing out like my husband and I don’t work hard for it.
