I’m so glad I took a chance on a new salon and booked a cut with John at the Common Place. Every single detail about it was perfect. John exudes calm, kind confidence and made me feel very relaxed and at ease. He is a perceptive, thoughtful listener and asked questions to get my ideas right. The salon space is clean, cozy, bright and positive. I was delighted with my hair and will absolutely be making this my regular salon.

Paula cut my hair today, and she did a beautiful job. It was also wonderful to be able to go to a salon on a Sunday. I had a very big and emotional haircut, from waist length to pixie. Paula is extremely skilled at what she does. Definitely will return and recommend the salon to others.

Such a welcoming place! Jay is so knowledgeable about hair and he believes in matching the hair style with the person. He asked me what I was looking for, and matched my haircut to my face. He can style any haircut, and he gave me lots of information about my hair and how to care for it properly. I also enjoyed a lovely chat with another stylist (I didn’t catch their name!) but they were so friendly and welcoming as well. Definitely recommend The Common Place for an inclusive and welcoming environment, and a fabulous hairstyle of course!

I love coming to the Common Place to freshen up my hair. The biggest problem I face every time I book is deciding who to book with. I've been to both John and Krista and I love them both so it's always a difficult decision that leaves me sweating. lol

The down-to-earth and kind nature of everyone who works here and the atmosphere keep me coming back. 10/10 recommend. 🙂

Definitely will be back. Really took the time to understand what I wanted / what would suit me. Checked-in on what I thought about the haircut throughout the process. Took me in on short notice and I'm so happy with my new hair!
