I took my 1 and 2 year old swimming at The Kroc Center last weekend. The place altogether is awesome!! So big, so much to do and staff was super friendly!! The water in the indoor pool was colder than I expected and was a little uncomfortable but my 2 year old didn't let it stop him from having a blast. Grandma and I even took a ride down the 3 story high enclosed slide. We both laughed like kids!! I can't wait to return, with or without my children. Lol

Our family loves the Kroc center! I love the fitness center, the variety of classes offered for the kids, and the super clean facility. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming.
If there is something to suggest is a separate parking for members during sports or other events going on. I understand that sports and other events rent out the space, but then it is really difficult for paying members to find parking. Other than those isolated events, the Kroc center continues to be amazing!!!

Way too busy for us there was so many people my kids could hardly swim. In the video I took a little after they opened it wasn’t to bad but within that first hour that place had so many families . Just people everywhere l, too crowded it’s overwhelming. My 7 year old son was even asking to leave.

Shout out to Anthony and a kind stranger (Theresa) today for assisting us when my anxious kiddo got stung by a bee on the playground. We have always had great experiences with all the lifeguards, staff and swim teachers. Highly recommend Kroc to others for the gym, aquatics, boxing, indoor track and more. This is a gem in the South Phoenix community.

Imagine coming to the 'Salvation Army' and being told you have to pay $15 bucks just to get in. I only wanted to hang out at the front tables, and get a little 'heat relief' for me and my Yorkie (for LITERALLY 15-30 minutes). I was told no, and that no manager was there to talk to, and then mocked as I was leaving. Yes, it was 10am and more workers than customers, just sitting around. Yes, the 'non-profit Salvation Army' is demanding people pay $15 just to sit in the lobby for 15 minutes. Time for some change and compassion from a so-called 'humane' organization. I turned around and walked out.

Not one other employee even stepped up to say, 'Yeah, they can just go sit for 15 minutes, no big deal.' Terrible experience, for something that literally meant nothing, to anybody.... over $15!! After reading other reviews, be warned about employees with no normal concept of discretion or compassion.

Wonderful facility plenty of parking. Very clean in the tournament they have a small concession stand which is nice but it was short-handed and he was very busy but did a very good job. But they didn't leave him any change. But kudos he did a great job. Whoever was working on on November 2nd.

The aquatics hours are false. The pool is very often closed. They call it an "annual cleaning" a lot. Like for example the pool was closes all Easter weekend, although it is not listed as so on the website. You basically have to call ahead anytime you want to swim. Also, anytime you want to go play basketball, there will be a tournament or event going on so you won't get to play. They have never set up a small hoop for my daughter when I asked. One more thing, the birthday party scheme is really lame. They offer a "party planner" but she is more of a buzzkill than anything. She doesn't attempt to make birthday parties any more fun, is just there to enforce rules on your kids. The lifeguards have no customer service training in general and arbitrarily enforce rules. O yea, and people have to be 12 years old to use the hot tub. Don't get a membership. Even though the prices for one entry are ridiculous, you will save money in the long run because you won't want to go back more than a few times. Once you get to know the workers and policies this places loses its appeal very quickly.
